Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

How much meat do I get with a side of beef or pork?

The amount of meat varies based on the size of each animal. We sell most of our sides of beef with a hang weight of 500-600 lbs which will yield approximately 250 lbs of meat.

How long do you hang beef?

14 days is our usual hang time but can accommodate 21 days for an additional charge.

Is your meat antibiotic free?

We only sell the healthiest stock. No culls or sick cows here. While we can’t guarantee no antibiotics ever, we test for antibiotics at harvest to make sure no residual is present.

From where do you source your meat?

We have several local farms that provide us a steady supply of fresh, healthy animals. Occasionally, we rely on regional sources for primals.

How do I book my animal for processing?

How much freezer space is required for a half of beef?

What cuts of meat will I get from half a beef?

You can expect a variety of steaks, roasts and grind. We will help you pick the best cuts for your cooking preferences.
